A boy came to Moore's Detective Agency ask for help to find Jimmy Kudo. He is a Harley Hartwell, High School detective from West who came to make sure the ability of Jimmy. Then the diplomat's wife came to ask for help and they went to the house diplomat. Harley guess that Jimmy will appear.

When they entered into the study of diplomat, the diplomat suddenly collapsed. Conan and Harley know if the diplomat had died poisoned, but the door and windows to his private chamber were all locked from the inside. How in the world did the killer escape? Seeing Richard are surprised and confused, Harley figured that Jimmy helps Richard when solving cases. Meanwhile, Conan collapsed because of the flu. When Harley started performing the analysis, there was someone who protests. That person is Jimmy Kudo, the great detective from the east!

The police arrive to investigate in the library where Conan, Amy, George and Mitch was there. There is a library staff who disappeared and most likely disappear when he was working. Police looking in all directions, but does not work. But Conan and Junior Detective League suspicious. Then they wait in the library until evening, then start searching.

In the library that should not exist anybody, they heard the head librarian talking to himself. They know a library staff was killed and his body is in in library. Then the Junior Detective League found the drugs in library. Up in the elevator, Conan finds the corpse in hidden tricks. But then the head librarian came with an iron pipe and attacked the Junior Detective League!
