Then Conan finds Richard stalking a man by pay 5000 dollars. After that Richard heard a news the man that stalking by him burns to death.
When he’s come to the police, Richard met his client who asks Richard to follow a man who burned to death. It turned out that the victim be protected by insurance money with very large number, and they're accepted by his client!
Richard sure that the client is murderer. But he had strong alibi and photos as the evidence.

A young girl, Masami Hirota, is at Richard's house and is begging him to find her father, Kenzo Hirota, who has been missing for a while. Richard immediately starts looking around for her father but can't find a lead, that is until Conan figures out where he might be. Richard, Conan, and Rachel find Kenzo and reunite him with her daughter but the case doesn't end there. The next day Kenzo is found dead at his apartment with Masami missing.
Immediately, they go searching for Masami who they figure must have been kidnapped during Kenzo's death. Without any leads they almost give up but then Conan remembers he dropped a transmitter on Masami's watch so he turns on his tracking device and recieves a signal. He follows it and at the end of the trail he finds a big man instead of Masami which leads him to believe she was killed. On his way home he spots Rachel chasing a man who she thinks took Masami. After an explanation they find out he was another detective who was hired to look for Kenzo, by the big man that Conan spotted today.

Conan invited by Amy Yeager, George Kaminski, and Mitch Tennyson into Mansion of Horror, they are then forced to find out about the ghost that stuck in the haunted house five years ago. At home that should be empty but the tap water can be use, and the window was left open. Because of suspicious events, search was resumed.
But tragedy is happening. Mitch is going to the toilet and George seduced by the smell of dishes disappear! Conan and Amy look for them. At time there’s a strange woman carrying a candle. But she disappear in the dead-end corridor!
